Here you find the block diagrams of CEG systems: they help you understand how the system works and how the parts connect. Detailed wiring diagrams are reserved for customers who bought through Carmine Energia Gratis: to get them, write to Carmine and give your CEG pre-order number.
These diagrams show reference CEG setups. Power, cable and protection ratings are not universal. Growatt 6 kW: up to 4 kWp per string; Growatt 12 kW: up to 7.5 kWp per string (from the manuals). These values apply to the CEG system shown, not to other inverters: the cold-voltage and current limits of each MPPT still have to be checked. The 300 mA input RCD does not replace the 30 mA protection required on household circuits. Block diagrams do not show every earth connection or protection: the electrician must check both off-grid and bypass operation.
Solar system with ATS

The automatic transfer switch moves the house from the grid to solar and back, never putting them in parallel.
Ask for the detailed diagramSystem with interlocked contactors

Two contactors with mechanical and electrical interlock do the same job as the ATS; relay KA gives priority to the Growatt.
Ask for the detailed diagramSystem with generator

The GEN input and dry contact can manage an auto-start generator if the generator and its interface are compatible. The dry contact is a control signal, not a power supply for the starter motor. Thresholds, power, supply quality and charging current must follow the manuals. The CEG diagram uses a 1-0-2 switch for an alternative emergency supply. Ask Carmine and your electrician about settings and wiring.
Ask for the detailed diagramSingle-phase Magic Box

How to add storage to an existing solar system.
Ask for the detailed diagramPanels in series

In series the voltage adds up and the current stays the same.
Ask for the detailed diagramPanels in parallel

In parallel the current adds up and the voltage stays the same.
