What it is: controller that adds storage to an already-installed GSE on-grid PV inverter (Huawei, SolarEdge, Fronius, Growatt…), without replacing it. It works with Growatt 6 kW – Carmine Energia Gratis, meter and CT clamp. Extra PV panels can be connected on the Growatt (optional): the GSE plant stays untouched; panels on the Growatt are a separate plant.
For whom: anyone who has (or will install) a GSE plant and wants to charge the battery from surplus instead of exporting, with priority home loads → battery → grid, and anti-blackout within system limits.

What it does
The meter (with CT clamp) sees grid export. If the battery is not full and there is surplus, Magic Box commands the Growatt 6 kW CEG to charge from excess grid/PV instead of exporting. Stated priority: home loads → battery → grid.
- Daytime: if there is surplus/export, it switches to UTI/bypass and sends excess energy into the battery.
- Evening/night: with enough battery, it switches to SBU and supplies loads from the Growatt 230 V output.
- Anti-blackout: if the grid is down, loads can stay powered by Growatt + battery (within system limits).
- Saturated GSE lines / tensione alta: formulazione corretta = bypass / load creation via storage — it does not “remove” the saturation issue.

Optional extra PV on Growatt: extra PV panels can be connected on the kit’s Growatt 6 kW (optional, not required). The GSE plant must stay as-is: do not touch it. Panels added on the Growatt are a separate plant, not linked to GSE. Typical capacity: up to two strings of 4,000 W peak each on the Growatt.
