Your calculations, one report

Use one calculator or as many as you need. Choose the results to keep, then save the report for yourself or share it with Carmine. No registration, purchase or email submission required.

How does it work? Four steps

  1. Start with your question. Only interested in storage? Open Battery. For a first estimate for your home, have an electricity bill showing annual kWh, not the cost in euros. Replace the calculators’ initial example values.
  2. Calculate and choose. After the result press “Add to my report”. If you try the same tool again, “Replace” updates the saved result. One result per tool: separate trials are not added together.
  3. Continue only if useful. Return to the calculators in the same browser tab and add other results. Check them here and remove any you do not want. For roofs with multiple slopes, download each trial separately and describe the different areas in the notes.
  4. Choose what happens next. Save as PDF, download the text or send one combined report to Carmine through the site. If you add just one calculation, that is the only calculation in your report.

Data stays in this browser tab during the session if storage is allowed. It is sent to the mail service only when you press Send report to Carmine. Download before leaving: this is not permanent storage and other tabs or devices may have a different report. IT/EN switching in the same tab retains selected results; saved calculations keep their original language. Report privacy.

I want a first estimate for my home: where do I start?
  1. Off-grid solar simulator CEG: Start with your location and demand. The guided journey combines panels, batteries, difficult months and grid or generator backup. Keep the result or explore only the checks you need.
  2. Panels from consumption: use annual kWh from the bill. Annual consumption alone does not describe when you use energy.
  3. Roof and local production: choose the house point on Maps, confirm it and enter dimensions, slope and orientation. The calculator uses PVGIS for annual and monthly production. Add the result to keep coordinates and assumptions too. The local production calculator uses the same PVGIS data for a standalone check.
  4. Battery and inverter: energy to cover and simultaneous loads are different inputs. Backup also requires checking power, duration and compatibility.
  5. Savings: use a real cost and a supported self-consumption estimate. The site does not invent a complete quotation: installation, components, taxes, shipping and paperwork can change the total.

Cables and strings are preliminary checks requiring manufacturer data and installation conditions. If unknown, leave these checks to a professional. You do not need to use every tool.
