How ratings are counted
One editable vote per browser, shared across the home page and all calculators. The average includes votes submitted or updated in the last 12 months. A functional cookie remembers your vote for up to 12 months. Clearing site data or using another browser can allow another vote. Ratings reflect voluntary submissions; visitors’ identities are not verified. Privacy details.
Method and limitations
Nominal Voc = one module’s Voc × modules in series. This first check applies a fixed 15% increase. Example: eight 49.5 V modules give 396 V, or 455.4 V with that margin. It does not automatically identify a safe panel count: manufacturer data, minimum temperature and MPPT/current checks are required.
